Todd LaPorte, Senior Vice President and CFO of Scottsdale Healthcare

Todd LaPorte is Senior Vice President and CFO of Scottsdale Healthcare, Scottsdale’s largest employer.  Todd joined Scottsdale Healthcare in 2001, and has served in progressive financial leadership roles prior to his appointment as CFO in early 2007.   

Prior to Scottsdale Healthcare, Todd served for nine years as the Chief Financial Officer of Dental-Net in Tucson, AZ, which was the parent company of Arizona’s second largest dental plan. Todd began his career in healthcare finance with Ernst & Young, where he worked for eight years, rising to the level of senior manager before joining Dental-Net.  Todd holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from the University of Arizona and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. 

Todd is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a CPA, and has served as President of two community Boards: the Scottsdale Aquatic Club and Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Southern Arizona, both under eight year Board terms.   He served on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Arizona State University School of Global Management & Leadership for two years.  He was recently recognized as a finalist for CFO of the Year by the Financial Executives Institute of Arizona.

Todd has been married for 28 years and raised four daughters with his wife. Todd enjoys playing basketball and golf, and watching his daughters in swimming competitions: one for Boise State University, one for the University of Louisville, and one incoming to the University of Northern Colorado.
