Stefanie Layton, Director; Senior Attorney, Pinnacle West

Stefanie is a native Phoenician and a graduate of the Paradise Valley School District. She earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Arizona and a law degree from Arizona State University. After practicing as a corporate attorney with a large Phoenix law firm, Stefanie is currently a Senior Attorney with Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, the parent company of APS.

Stefanie is very active in the community serving as a board member with the University of Arizona Alumni Association, Arizona State University College of Law Alumni Association and the Volunteer Lawyers Program. Stefanie is also a volunteer 5th grade Junior Achievement teacher, a committee member for the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge Charity Fundraiser and an active member of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee.

Stefanie feels strongly that every child, regardless of their financial status or ethnic background, should have access to a quality education. Her goal as a member of the Foundation for Public Education Board is to build a better and stronger community for the next generation by supporting our public education system.
