I am writing to congratulate you for your efforts to revive The Foundation for Public Education supporting Paradise Valley Unified School District.  Through your efforts, the district has a positive outlook toward finding the support needed for academic programs that are costly but important to raising the achievement of all students.  Paradise Valley has always had a strong history of parent and community involvement in our schools, and The Foundation has taken that involvement to the district level. Given the development goals and the mission of The Foundation, Paradise Valley students will be afforded opportunities that few districts in Arizona offer.  Students will all be able to avail themselves of a "college-going" culture.

Educational literature points out that the most successful schools and districts have three components.  They are: strong leadership, a dedicated staff, and a supportive parent community.  The Foundation has raised that level of support in our community so that we can truly become a national leader in public education.
