Janice Grandy

As a TFPE Founding Director, Janice is a key member of the team that shaped and executed the mission, vision and business strategies for this grass-roots nonprofit organization. The unique and cutting edge foundation supports the Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVUSD), one of the State’s largest school districts with approximately 34,000 students and 4,200 staff.  
Her conviction is that students of public education should consistently be exposed to challenging curriculum and passionate educators who teach with excellence. Organizing the collaborative efforts of a senior level Board of Directors and a cadre of volunteers, she ensured that ideas were properly planned and executed.  She has invested several years leading teams that produced record breaking fundraising amounts, cultivated multiple donors, brokered an inaugural alumni directory and funded over $500,000 in progressive programs that ensures our graduates success in their future endeavors.   

Going forward and aligned with TFPE’s strategic vision to provide mentorships, internships and scholarships for students, Janice is engaged in cultivating an enthusiastic business partner board that embraces corporate social responsibility and provides opportunities that generate positive measurable outcomes for students.  She will continue to invest her specialized knowledge in the nonprofit sector to ensure the onward progress of TFPE.

An independent Sales Director with Mary Kay Inc., one of the world’s largest direct selling companies with more than $2.5 billion in annual wholesale sales worldwide, Janice represents the top two percent of the sales force with an unparalleled opportunity for unlimited earning potential. With a steely vision and competitive edge of leading her entrepreneurial team to the first position nationwide, she is being mentored by the top tier of the Company’s leaders including the number one National Sales Director in the world.

Janice earned her Master of Nonprofit Studies at Arizona State University; a B.S. in Psychology and a Sociology minor from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  She has a certification in makeup artistry and business experience with an international airline, Fortune 500 high-tech corporation and a financial services firm.  Janice, her husband Tom, and their three daughters relocated to Arizona in 2000.
